Ctrl byBreaking Fourthis a VR experience set within the final round of a fictitious VR e-sports tournament. From front row seats, you watch Liam, a talented young gamer and clear underdog, compete for the grand prize. Spurred on by the sneering hosts, Liam defeats each level in record time. But with victory in sight, Liam’s home life begins to interfere with his gameplay. As time runs out, you learn what it is that Liam is really fighting for.
Contracted as a freelance Animator to work on a re-mastered version of their virtual reality production ‘Ctrl’, my responsibilities were to design and develop the new gameplay using keyframe animation on incidental objects in time to audio. My role here also included developing custom rigs to streamline the animation and export pipeline in order to make it easier when integrating animation into the Unity game engine.
