Motion Disabled Faces

Motion Disabled : Faces

Project Information:

Project Start/End: 05/2011 - 08/2012

Motion Disabled: Faces was a complex exhibition which at the time made use of state of the art equipment, commonly associated with computer games, film and television.

Working with disabled actors we captured their facial motion using the motion capture lab at Teesside University.

Employed by Simon Mckeown as Technical Director and Animation Manager, I oversaw the whole process with Simon Mckeown from the onset.

The process included 3D laser scans, video, photography, sound, motion capture along with computer graphic work such as the building and rigging of the virtual 3D heads.
